grant writer for juggle the world
I led and organized the grant operations for the nonprofit Juggle the World, which uses soccer as a tool to build community and assist underserved youth in Compton to attend college. My job included researching and identifying grants to apply to; writing grant applications and narratives explaining the nonprofit's purpose, needs, and organizational structure; and, working with team members to showcase JTW's work.
I have applied for grants through organizations like the U.S. Soccer Foundation and LA84. I write strong narratives with great attention to detail, clarity, and audience.
During a spring semester abroad in Florence, Italy, I documented my adventures by writing a travel blog. From January to May, I encountered new places all over Europe, new food, new cultures, and new friends.
